The free stuff

The guides, checklists, prompt pack, free skills and newsletter are free to use in your own business. They are general information, not advice for your specific situation, and prices or features of the tools we write about change after we publish. Check before you buy anything on the strength of an article.

Paid work

Builds, the Command Center, custom websites and Business in a Box are scoped in a written proposal or agreement before any work starts. That document sets the price, what is included and the timeline, and it wins over anything on this page.

Front Door sites

• A three-page site (a landing page, a services page and a contact page) for $1,000, paid once.
• You see the site before you pay.
• The first year of hosting is included. If you do not own a web address, we get you one, and that is included too.
• After the first year, hosting on its own is $20 a month. That covers hosting, your web address and security updates; changes are $100 each.
• Upkeep is optional, $250 a month. See monthly plans below.
• New pages or a redesign are custom work, quoted separately.
• The web address stays in your name. If you ever leave, you get it and a copy of the site.

Monthly plans

Upkeep and Partner keep what we built running after launch. Both are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. If you also have a signed agreement with us, that agreement wins over anything here.

Upkeep, $250 a month

• Hosting, backups, security updates, and fixes to anything we built that stops working.
• Up to 2 small requests a month, about an hour each, done within 5 business days. Unused requests do not roll over.
• Anything bigger gets a price first. Nothing is billed without your yes.
• Month to month. Cancel any day and it ends at the end of the month you have paid for. We do not refund the current month.

Partner, $3,500 a month on six months, or $4,500 a month to month

• Hosting, backups, security updates and fixes to anything we built.
• Requests through your client portal, turned around within 48 hours, one at a time, in the order you choose. A request is one task with a clear finish, usually up to two or three hours of work. Anything bigger is quoted as its own project.
• Emergencies (the system is down, or your customers are affected) jump the line: a reply within 2 hours between 8am and 8pm Eastern, every day, by 8am for anything reported overnight, and working again within 24 hours.
• A 60-minute call every month about what to build next.
• If you have a Command Center, its $297 monthly service is included while you are on Partner.
• Six-month commitment: $3,500 a month for six months, then month to month at the same price. Six-month commitments are also signed as a written agreement. If you need to leave early, you pay the difference between the month-to-month price and what you paid for each month already used, and it ends at the end of the paid month.
• Month to month: $4,500 a month. Cancel any day and it ends at the end of the month you have paid for.

Both plans

• If a payment is more than 30 days late, we may pause requests. We still fix anything that has taken your system down.
• When a plan ends, we hand over anything you do not already have, remove our access and confirm it in writing.
• What we built for you is yours once it is paid for.

Security and your data

• Your systems live in accounts you own. We get added by invitation, with our own login, and we never ask for your password. We ask for the smallest access that gets the job done.
• We never use your data to train AI.
• If something goes wrong that touches your data or your access, we cut off the affected access right away and tell you within 72 hours of finding it. In plain words: what happened, what it touched, what we have done about it, and what you should do.
• When we part ways, within 14 days we remove our access, move anything we hold in our name into yours, hand over the system with its written guide, and return or delete your data, whichever you prefer. Then we confirm it in writing.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us.

What you send us

If you send photos, logos or text for us to use, you are telling us you have the right to use them. We ask before we use your photos, and we never use stock photos of people in their place.

The site itself

The writing, design and code on handledagency.co belong to Handled Agency LLC. Quote us and link back, sure. Copying pages wholesale, no.

YouTube

Our private posting tool uses YouTube API Services to publish videos to our own YouTube channel. Anything that reaches YouTube through it is also covered by the YouTube Terms of Service.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Work already under a signed agreement stays under that agreement.
